For Meagan and James’ wedding day it was all about adapting and rolling with the punches as we worked around changes in public health guidelines and gathering restrictions. Plans changed so much over the course of the 6 months coming up to the big day. Luckily we had some amazing colleagues in Kennedy Events Planning and our new venue The Wakefield Grand, which is a private hotel on the property of Le Belvédère that was converted to a micro wedding venue. We worked together to make sure this wedding went ahead in the most beautiful way possible.
Shrinking the guest list down to a micro wedding gave us the chance to throw everything we had into their gorgeous, floating centerpiece. This is one of the coolest things we have ever had the opportunity to make, a sprawling line of greenery accented with tons of flowers and tiny chandeliers. We designed this to first serve as an overhead piece as the couple walked down the aisle. Then, post ceremony, we dropped the whole thing down, lowered the chandeliers and set the table right underneath.
