Emily & Steve | Ottawa Wedding – Le Belvedere

For this late summer, micro wedding we headed to Le Belvedere with a load of decor pieces and lighting to help make this gorgeous patio into an intimate space for Emily and Steve’s reception. That view really does most of the heavy lifting here though.

Thanks to our good friends at Petite Weddings by Kennedy Events and Pollen Nation Floral Studio, we were able to create a little outdoor oasis for this beautiful couple and their close family. Using string lighting to transform open air spaces and make them feel a bit more intimate has been a big trend since weddings were forced to relocate outside in 2020. That little touch of light overhead can really pull the location together and make the illusion of a closed space.
